Introducing the Intern: Jenna

Hello everyone! My name is Jenna Minnig and I am overjoyed to introduce myself as Happy Valley Improv’s newest social media intern. When I first heard about the organization, I knew I wanted to get involved in any way possible. As a college student who is constantly surfing the Internet, a position in social media sounded like a dream come true!

To tell you a little bit about myself, I am currently a freshman at Penn State majoring in Broadcast Journalism and I am from Chocolate Town, PA (a.k.a. Hershey). You may be wondering why I am so interested in Happy Valley Improv. Well, as a dancer for twelve years, I am no stranger to the stage and the thrilling atmosphere within the theatre. After a few months at college, I realized how much I missed being in this welcoming environment. I do not have much experience in the world of improvisation, but I am willing to try. (And I hope you are too!)

My goal is to expose Happy Valley Improv to an even broader audience of all ages around State College. I truly believe that people will want to keep coming back after one show or class. My motto is that you can’t knock something until you try it, and my hope is that will be your motto too!
